Want free tickets to “Despicable Me 3”? Enter to win a family pack to a screening

“Despicable Me 3.” Illumination Entertainment/Universal Pictures

Who is excited for “Despicable Me 3”? We definitely are in my house. We can’t wait to see what Gru and his daughters Margo, Edith and Agnes are up to next as well as what high jinks will come from the Minions.

I’ve got 10 family passes good for four seats each to give away to a 7 p.m. June 27 screening at the Regal Metropolitan. The film doesn’t come out for the public until June 30. So it’s a sneak peak to brag to your friends about.

All you have to do is email me at nvillalpando@statesman.com by noon Wednesday, June 21. But here’s the important details: You must put “DESPICABLE ME 3” TICKETS in the subject line. You must give me your name and your phone number. We’d also love to hear if you have a favorite Minion or other character from the first two movies or “Minions” movie.

I’ll let the winners know by June 23 and email them the passes.

Got it? Good luck!

Update: Who’s Austin’s favorite “Despicable” character? So far Bob is winning followed by a tie between Gru and Stuart. We’ve also had entries for Jerry, Dave, Agnes, the evil purple ones, Kevin, the unicorn stuffed animal, the minion who makes the kissy face, Scarlette Overkill, El Macho, Lucy Wilde, Dr. Nefario, Vector and a lot of votes for “all the minions” — AKA don’t make us choose.
